Melinda Gates is Catholic and has decided to make birth control her signature issue, giving a billion-dollar middle finger to the Catholic church. I adore this woman.
I can’t read “The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation” without hearing it in an NPR voice. They are truly awesome.
In case you're wondering why I've been MIA
The giant storms last week knocked out a lot of power. We didn’t lose any BUT we did lose our WiFi-which is still down. And my work blocked tumblr in general.
Internetting from my phone is just inefficient.
So I’ll probably still not be around much for another week(?) or so.
